Great coffee starts at the farm. We work with trusted partners to source specialty-grade Arabica beans from high-elevation regions across the world.

 

The Rutgers Roast features our favorite Colombian bean, grown on family-owned farms at 1300 meters above sea level. Located in Colombia's “coffee triangle”, these small producers pick, process, and dry their own coffee, utilizing co-operatively owned micro-wet mills and solar dryers.

 

The result is a smooth milk chocolate taste with a subtle fruity brightness. Coffees from Brazil and Honduras round out the blend, contributing gentle nuttiness and a natural sweetness.  Roasted in small batches to a medium-dark profile, this blend stays consistent and balanced from bag to brew.

 

In the cup, expect smooth milk chocolate, toasted nut, and a subtle citrus lift. Full-bodied yet easy to enjoy — perfect whether you’re powering through the morning, gearing up for the game, or just settling in with your favorite mug.
